In the Skies

In honor of Women's Month last March, I have created this beautiful girl quickly entering her palace.

It took me several weeks to finish this art. I did this in between doing a research proposal, exams, clearances, deadlines, and numerous personal bumps that made my days feel longer than usual. I took the time, because I want to highlight every stroke. I wanted to showcase the beauty of her eyes. The sway of the hem of her dress.

I wanted to showcase her to encourage girls that no matter how busy we may seem, we should always have time to pursue our talents and passions. We are not just girls after all, we ARE WOMEN :)
